China H&Z® Tranexamic Acid is a white powder that is an effective skin lightener when used in cosmetic formulations. The lightening effects of tranexamic acid were discovered accidentally during a medical procedure.
Tranexamic acid works by stopping tyrosinase activity, which reduces the formation of melanin. It is soluble in water and glacial acetic acid (anhydrous). Our tranexamic acid has been assayed at 99+% pure.
